Recently, I had an encounter with God where He reminded me of a passage in Scripture I had not thought about for years:
“And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in Thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in My name, that can lightly speak evil of Me.” (Mark 9:38-39)
Then He highlighted the fact Jesus that called the Church to cast out demons, and in these Scriptures, He called this act a miracle. He then took me back to the 80s and early 90s when many people were set free, attending corporate deliverance services all over the Body of Christ. Although this was often done in somewhat of an unorthodox manner, never the less, people were set free. But the Church, over the past 20 years, as a whole, has chosen a neater, user-friendly picture.
I was then shown inside a church service during a time of worship, where people were being delivered without anyone praying for them. People got up and shared their testimony of freedom, which caused a chain reaction. It looked messy but in order.
Then I heard the Lord say:
"I love My people too much to see them stay bound. Many are living under the attacks of the devil; many are bound in their souls. I called the Church to cast out demons. I have given the Church the authority to set the captives free. I am coming to mess up your church services, your prayer meetings, your gatherings, your worship services...I am coming like a whirlwind.
"Many of the leaders in deliverance ministries of old will rise to the front once again--this time not being ridiculed or scorned, but in this season they will be honored for their knowledge in this area. Information will be gleaned from them by this next generation of leaders.
"This is the hour for My people to be set free. They will, in turn, lead others that are captives into freedom. They will carry such compassion for those bound. Gratefulness to God produces great power; they will know what it is to be bound, and they will know what it is to be free. People that the Church has put in the 'too hard basket' will be the ones carrying the baskets filled with the fruit of this end-time harvest."
The scales are tipped the enemy has had his time; this is God's time to show Himself great throughout the earth.
Freedom Fighters will appear all over the Body of Christ and in the market place, with a great awareness that the enemy is defeated. Even the world will come seeking such miracles.
We are entering the third day of RESTORATION.
"After two days He will revive us; on the third day, he will restore us, that we may live in His presence. Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth." (Hosea 6:2-3)
"When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation." (Proverbs 10:25)
