During worship on the 14th January 2024, I had a vision applicable to both individuals and the collective Body of Christ.
Vision: I found myself on a surfboard at a surf beach, joined by a group of others,
including Jesus, we were all on surfboards.
Floating behind the waves in the calm waters, we anticipated a swell, though initially, it seemed flat with no waves on the horizon.
People seemed discouraged saying there was no swell. Jesus was saying to different people “There is a wave coming” He could see the swell we could not.
As people started to paddle, I sensed the Lord encouraging them to heed His voice, signalling the impending wave. Even though they could not see the waves they started to echo the Lord
“There is a wave coming” and began paddling. This caused them to be in the
right position to catch the wave.
The message resonated – despite the apparent calm, significant waves are approaching. I thought of this scripture about things springing forth do we perceive it?
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will
make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
The vision underscored both individual and collective readiness, also alignment to Jesus's
voice over circumstances brings breakthroughs.
