A Rumbling on the Horizon
Recently I had a vision where I saw what looked like a sunrise, but instead of the sun going up into the sky in its usual position, it burst forth across the earth!
I heard the Lord say, "There is a rumbling on the horizon." The picture looked bleak over the earth until this large ball of light started to appear. As this bright, white light went across the earth, everything it touched looked much brighter and the atmosphere was lighter, similar to an overexposed picture.
The Lord then said, "When everything that can be shaken is shaken...then it will be time to see My light shine in the darkness."
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." (John 1:5)
I was struck by the light rays that radiated from the ball of light. It was impossible to stay hidden in darkness. Everything was lit up—not just the landscape but also the people.
The hidden things will be revealed. "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17).
Declaring and Establishing His Light
Our job is to keep declaring God's light as it rising upon the earth, dispelling all darkness; keep decreeing that our paths are lit by this light, causing unclouded vision.
"You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways." (Job 22:28)
Illuminating the Future
I saw, as this light went forth, that there was not only light but clarity, causing amazing visibility. It was clear everywhere as the light exploded upon the scenery. There was an illumination in thought, especially regarding the future. So many of God's people have stopped dreaming, stopped expecting, and stopped hoping. The darkness on the earth has created a blanket of despair—even a fear of looking into and believing what God is revealing for the future.
Over the past few years, many have moved forward by faith through obedience, without any clear direction or vision. The light will be gladly welcomed and celebrated by Believers and feared by non-believers.
Now the veil will be lifted; they will see the whole picture...no smoke screens. Things will begin to make sense that didn't make sense before. God is arising, He is being lifted up.
"'NOW I WILL ARISE,' says the LORD. 'Now I will lift Myself up. Now I will be exalted.'" (Isaiah 33:10)
